Dinos vs. Superheros
Saturday, February 16, 2013
Every morning our bathtub gets taken over by boys, plastic toys, and water is everywhere. Epic battles ensue - typically monster trucks, ponies, power rangers, and dinosaurs. This morning, it's Dinosaurs vs. Superheros. I think the Dinos got this.

The boys stayed at Grandma's last night
This is what they did this morning
So hard to be a little boy

A Boys House
Thursday, July 14, 2011
I live in a boys house
Our couch is a fort. Or a trampoline.
Or a Trampoline fort.
The men of motorcross watch TV with us at night.
I just end up sitting on them.
We have a Hot Wheels race car track on our wall.
As a "toy decoration."
Dan & the boys thinks it's cool.
Of course they do.
I do not.
Nicky has found a new use for NERF Darts: an accoutrement for our couch.
The neon orange and green go nicely with my design palatte.
HGTV please help.
Dinosaurs rule the earth again.
Or at least our porch, patio, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
The couch is a canvas for our furute Monet
REALLY?
My bathtubs has become the home for lost misfit toys.
We hang out
with a bottle of wine.
Bottle.
So much for watching The Bachelorette or So You Thing You Can Dance
I've already poked my eyes out watching Caillou

Before you were born, I loved you
Sunday, May 23, 2010
Dearest Nicholas & Brandon,
I came across this quote on a frame and thought of you...
I remember the day you were born and my heart melted when I saw you for the first time and I realized just how much I loved you and I worried that I could never possibly love more than I do now.
And even when you become a big boys I will always remember your baby fingers, your pudgy toes, your contagious smile, your button nose, your bald head, your big eyes, your long eyelashes, your chubby little legs, your pot belly, your dimpled bum cheeks and your infectious laugh--I remember and cherish all of these tiny details and precious moments, each and every day.
And I can tell you that there is no one in the world I would rather be than your Mommy.

Ok Back to my Beautiful Boys: A couple updates
Monday, February 22, 2010
Brandon has 2 more teeth, making the tally 4. He is crawling, and I have yet to get it on video. He is doing extremely well with the helmet, and all the cute stickers I bought DON'T STICK. Dan put some John Deere tractor stickers on the helmet, but I took them off. I'm not really a dirt and tractor girl. not at all. He basically sleeps through the night and drinks from a sippy cup. He eats 3 meals a day and just started eating finger foods like Gerber puffs and yogurt meltaways.and hes started to make sounds like baba, gaga, dada, and yep. Yes, "yep"
Nicky "fist bumps", uses the words "get it" profusely, and when he dances, he can "raise the roof" and "push it out". He randomly shouts "Go Shauna" in stores, and when we pull up to the coffee shop he asks (shouts) for a "orange star" cookie. (how the hell he knows that, no clue. he is so intuitive) He counts to 10 and can say ABCD. He knows all his colors (red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, brown) by name and identification. He can sing "eieio". He puts chapstick on.
they both are boys and have stolen my heart
