Scene: Mommy and Nicky playing out front

Scene: Daddy sitting on the couch on Sunday morning
Nicky: Daddy, what are you doing?

Nicky: Can we do some exercises please? Put one leg up and you bend over like this

Scene: Snack time - after 2 bowls of dry cereal
Nicky: {coming out of my bedroom} Look Mom, its all gone!
Mommy: {pause} Hmm, what did you do?
{walking into our bedroom, Nicky running after me - cereal all over the floor}
Nicky: Moooom, No! Just don't see it.  I'll clean it up. I was sharing with Zeus

Nicky: Mommy, can I kiss you?

{Nicky kisses my shoulder}

Mommy: Nicky, let's go to the store
Nicky: Are we getting a toy for Nicky, Brandon?
Mommy: Sure
Nicky: And Baby Luke
Mommy: Yes, we can get somehting for Baby Luke too
Nicky: and a dogbone for Roxy and Zeusey?
Mommy: Yes for them too. What about Daddy?
Nicky: Mommy, Daddy is not a puppy.

Mommy: Let's Go

Mommy: How do you spell Nicky
Nicky: N-O-C-K-Y, Nicky
Mommy: There is no "O" in Nicky
Nicky: {shouting} THERE IS TOO AN "O" MOMMY. No thank you, Mommy.
