Don't Blink, baby steps

It was yesterday that I could put Brandon on a blanket on the floor and he would happily play with his feet - in one place.

Soon, he would push himself up onto all fours to crawl. Once he got the hang of it he was crawling everywhere! Completely fascinated by how fast he could go...He'd put his head down to gain momentum and pump those arms and legs.

Baby Proofing became important again. The stairs - endless possibilities of playtime and adventure...and stress for Mommy and Daddy.

Next he would pull himself up on anything and cruise around, happy to be free and have some independence, so wanting to be like Nicky.
It also means the baby days are coming to an end...

Then he reaches out with his tiny hands and waddles towards me on wobbly chubby legs; his first few steps are bittersweet.

My baby is growing up. College will be just a blink away.

Happy and Sad. All at the same time

{Bright Side} Moving on UP!

...On June 7th, Nicky is moving up to Early Preschool 1. New teachers, and some old friends like Emily, Bennet, and Trey! Oh and tuition goes down too. Way to go Nicky, new shoes for Mommy!

I found this notification in his cubby this morning.

Luckily, his best friend Kylee Jo is going too!

Could they be any cuter??? Also moving with Nicky and Kylee Jo, are Marianna and Andrew.

Good-Bye Miss Noemi

Last Friday was a sad day for all the kids in Nicky's class. One of their favorite teachers Miss Noemi left to go to school full time. Miss Noemi (or "Nomi") as Nicky calls her, instantly became a favorite teacher. Everyday we asked Nicky who he played with (aside from Kylee Jo)  Nomi. Who's his best friend. Nomi. Who took him to the potty. Nomi. Who changed him. Nomi. Nomi. Nomi. Nomi.

She will be missed.

BUT, hold on, wait a minute... 

there is a bright side to all of this!

Happy Helmet Graduation Day, Brandon!

It's official! Brandon has graduated from the Docband and will never have to wear his helmet again. The results were pretty amazing and we are so happy to have done it. Below are his before and after pictures! We went home with a graduation certificate and his "headsicle" (A life size cast of his head on a stick)
