3 years ago!

3 years ago I sat down to write a little blog called Adventures in Abelingland.

and what an Adventure it has been.

I didn't think I could do it. 

You see...

I'm notoriously fickle.

I cant make a decision for the life of me.

I cant commit.

I already quit Insanity after 3 weeks .

I like to flip flop.

I like to wear flip flops.

But I stuck with it and here I am three years later!

Normally I debut a new blog look and feel but I didnt do Family pictures this summer as usual.

{I'll be doing them in the fall for Christmas cards}

Regardless - Happy 3rd Birthday Blog!! 

Here is to 18 more years.

Blog Book 2011

I was just thinking that in 25 days I get to make my next blog book.
My first year blogging I had 58 posts
Last year I had 287 posts
and so far I have 278 posts with 20 days to go. I am pretty sure I will get to 300 posts.
I can't wait to make my book for 2011!

Another Facelift...back in July

No, not me, even if I need one, but the bloggy! The new changed happened back in July, but I forgot to write about it. And if you read the blog through a RSS feed, you may never notice a change.  I also like to have a snapshot of how the blog transforms over the years. I've changed it 3 times now, coincidentally with each new baby.

Even I am amazed at my dedication and relentless blogging.

I do this for me and my boys

Coming Soon: Blogfacelit

After three kids I understand the allure of mommy enhancements: Botox,  nips, tucks, sucks, peels, extentions, blow outs...bring it on. 

But considering I need $$$ of work done, I figured a new blog face lift will hold me over. 

Nothing too dramatic. a splash of color, new banner, new features, etc.

And at the end of every year I will make a book. 

I write because in 10, 20, 30 years I will be so glad I did.
