3 boys. 10 months. All different

I love these side by sides, trying to figure out if they look similar, different, and especially WHO they look like. I love their smiles. I love the great eyebrows. The *almost* dimples. The big eyes. They all have no hair.

I love that these three boys are mine.

Roxy and her Boys, round 3!

Over the last three years, on of my favorite things to do has been take pictures and compare the boys in the same outfits, same positions, at the same age, and to recreate a favorite picture. 

One day I took a picture of Nicky and Roxy and it became one of my favorites...and then I did it with Brandon...and now Luke. 

All three pictures were taken about 13- 14 weeks and on the same chair. 

This stuff makes me happy that I have three boys

{but then I see this and I cry! sometimes. just once.}

Twins - 3 years apart

People always ask me who my kids look like (a combo of Me and Dan - haha) and why Brandon and Nicky look nothing alike. That I can't tell you, but I can tell you that 4 weeks ago the little boy that came out reminded me so much of Nicky - the hair, the mannerisms, the expressions, the baby sounds, and well after 4 weeks, it's apparent to me that they could be twins! Right down to the button nose and balding hairline. Take a look and tell me what you think!

B and N, N and B

One of my favorite things to do is to compare the boys at different ages. I've posted pictures at almost every milestone, even dressing them in the matching outfits or recreating some of my favorite pictures.

Yesterday I posted a picture of both of them at a Y E A R old.

They are so different: Nicky had a tan, inherited my nice Italian skin, Brandon has Dan's light Russian skin. Nicky has a round face, B an oval one; different eye color, hair color, personalities,vocabulary, behavior, maturity level, weights, heights, and shoes sizes.....and on and on.

So today's comparison is from when they were teeny tiny inside me!

These are 2 of the MOST important pictures I ever saw. 

And if you know me, no 2 pictures have made me CRY more. And if you know me, how like their M O T H E R are they in these shots! (hahah)

Never have I wanted and LOVED having two boys than I have today.

Side by Side. A new Abeling boy tradition? Here they are at 2 months, 3 months,  5 months,  6 months, 7 months, 8 months, and now 10 months. I love these side by sides, trying to figure out if they look similar, different, and especially WHO they look like. I love their smiles. I love the great eyebrows. The *almost* dimples. {See the bruise on Brandon's forehead? Second bruise in 2 weeks in the same exact spot. This time, he fell at school. Poor baby}

my boys: side by side 6 months

a couple things: I need a tan and a new haircut. Brandon is about 1 pound heavier than Nicky, and I have the cutest kids.EVER. What?! I am biased :)

Santa Babies

We were at a holiday bazaar in Steiner Ranch and they had a Santa for pictures. Not a very festive picture, except for the big man in a red suit, but Brandon survived without any screaming and Nicky didn't seem to care all that much. Actually Brandon looks bored as hell, and Nicky looks up to something, We'll be home on the 24th and will take pictures at Hillsdale in their official christmas outfits. I like official.

Brandon's First Day at Primrose

Brandon started his first day at Primrose today. Its a raining day in Austin, so I took advantage of the weather and dressed the boys in matching sweat suits. Yay!

Roxy and her Boys

Roxy loves babies. Especially Brandon and Nicky. She is watchful, attentive, and their fierce protector. She loves to snuggle with them and french kiss them. She goes on walks with them. She eats their toys and food...and they eat hers (well Nicky, not Brandon. YET). She also take memorable pictures with the boys. Here was my favorite picture of Nicky and Roxy at 14 weeks and I re-created it with Brandon last night. I also had to get that outfit on Brandon before it got too cold.
