Lucky SEVEN

2 years ago we began a little tradition for our anniversary. A Staycation. In Austin. At the Four Seasons. The first year was AH-Mazing, primarily because it was our first time away from Nicky and Brandon and we slept in! ha.

Last year,  I had a 2 week old {Luke} and we stayed home, although I probably wished I was far far away.

This year we got lucky. We had help! Grandma Booba and Papa Bob signed up to watch all THREE! Yipee!! We booked another suite at the Seasons and got a jump start on our vacation.

We started off with a late lunch at Taverna, and walked around second street. We made it to the pool by 3 and spent the rest of the afternoon poolside. We had a great dinner at Second Street Bar and Grill, but the highlight of the day had to be the in-room movie we watched - 21 Jump Street - seriously. SO funny. We laughed for 2 hour straight. Highly recommend it.

Saturday morning, we got up and walked to Joe's for some coffee and eats. Tricia, my partner in crime, met us at the pool, and we proceeded to drink until 4 pm. It was a great day relaxing, making fun of Dan's new wool "eminem" hat and made some new friends visiting Austin.

Dinner was delicious at Vespaio on South Congress. Before we ate, there was a tiny flea market and  I randomly met a vendor I had previously found on Etsy!  How weird, right?? Plaid Pigeon, makes these awesome cool colorful Dinosaur succulent planters. I bought 4 of them for Nicky's party. They never made an appearance, but they are so neato.

We watched Contagion. Sunday morning, we had crepes that would have been perfect if they had real whip cream. but we survived.

My mom was planning on taking the boys to Ella's birthday , but we headed home to surprise them and took all three ourselves. It was a great anniversary, special anniversary weekend, and so special to celebrate it with the one I love.

Happy Seven Years and to 700 more! and special thanks to Grandma and Papa!!
