Hello in there!

Thursday, April 28, 2011
Hello Lucky!
We see you in there!

Yesterday I had my 36 week sonogram
This was the last time Daddy and I will see you before you arrive
Right now you and I are fighting for space
and you are winning.
You like to kick me in my hip bones, and bladder
You hiccup all day long
and stretch your arms so they poke me in my ribs
You are in the 65 percentile and very proportionate, they say
So i wonder if that means you wont have a big head??
I have gained 10 pounds in just the last 2 weeks
which puts me 2 pounds away from being as big as I was with Nicky
so you are on track to being my biggest baby yet!
~Or maybe that means, I' will be the biggest this time~
They predict you to be about 7 and a half pounds by May 18th
Brandon was 7 lbs, 3 oz and Nicky was 8 lbs 11 oz.
I gained 32lbs with Nick, 21lbs with Brandon
and on track for 35lbs - ish with you.
Either way you will be perfect
and we can't wait to meet you
BUT
looking at the picture below...
I''m hoping your nose will not be that big
xoxo

20 Week Sonogram Comparison

Tuesday, February 15, 2011
Back in the "January" post, I mention how upset I was with my 20 week sonogram. Here are my previous 2 sonograms of Nicky and Brandon. They are pretty clear and you can tell what you are looking at - and they may have foreshadowed their personalities a bit: Nicky is crazy and upside-down -  Brandon calm and relaxed.
I was hoping to have a 3rd picture to compare side by side, but the quality is poor, and you can't tell what it is! The legs disappear into the abyss or are cut off, however, the boy part (of course) shines in all it's glory! Maybe he will be the most mellow of all my boys!

I just finished week 25 and had a check-up on Monday. Everything looks good, I am feeling great, and January seems like a blur! I haven't had a headache in weeks and the weakness and dizziness I was feeling has gone away. I still get tired easily, and my energy is not as high, but I am feeling good. To date I have gained 14 pounds. At the same week with Brandon I had gained 12, so I am right about the same...which is funny because I feel HUGE. So anyways, right now, everything is looking great. I can't believe I have 3 months to go. At my next appointment I have my glucose test, blood work, and another weigh in - and before I know it, Baby Luke will be here! Anxiously awaiting....

We are so Lucky

After a couple more weeks
of deliberating, fighting, screaming, and cross - examining over 100 names
while degrading Italians everywhere
(it's ok I am Italian)
I had a dream.
It was a similar dream to when I nicknamed Brandon
"Banjo"
I had a dream that my little peanut was called
"Lucky"
and that was that.
So it's official Baby Abeling #3 name is
Luke Anthony Abeling
Hello Lucky! We can't wait to meet you.
xoxoxo

B and N, N and B

Wednesday, July 14, 2010
One of my favorite things to do is to compare the boys at different ages. I've posted pictures at almost every milestone, even dressing them in the matching outfits or recreating some of my favorite pictures.

Yesterday I posted a picture of both of them at a Y E A R old.

They are so different: Nicky had a tan, inherited my nice Italian skin, Brandon has Dan's light Russian skin. Nicky has a round face, B an oval one; different eye color, hair color, personalities, vocabulary, behavior, maturity level, weights, heights, and shoes sizes.....and on and on.

So today's comparison is from when they were teeny tiny inside me!

These are 2 of the MOST important pictures I ever saw.

And if you know me, no 2 pictures have made me CRY more. And if you know me, how like their M O T H E R are they in these shots! (hahah)

Never have I wanted and LOVED having two boys than I have today.
